Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, I graduated cum laude from Concordia University with a B.F.A. in Art History and a Minor in Irish Studies, following a zeal for all things art and culture. Though Montreal was a perfect city for such a culturally rich learning experience, after graduation I moved back home to Ottawa to pursue scriptwriting at Algonquin College.
At Algonquin, I learned the technical finesse of writing film scripts, TV scripts, plays, and even interactive media scripts. Algonquin also offered amazing internship opportunities, and through the programme, I was able to experience the real world of television production at the Ottawa-based Carte Blanche Films, where I worked under executive producer and president Tracy Legault.
Now working as a freelance writer, graphic designer, and artist in Ottawa, I am eager to explore and create pieces of culture of my own!
